Thank you everyone for taking the time to read this Gofundme. My name is Shawntel Francisco of San Fernando Valley. I’m honored to have been selected by my family to create this Gofundme on behalf of my cousin Stancie Chisom Clay. And so, it is with a heavy and grateful heart that I share the news of the passing of my dearly beloved, Aunt Joyce Chisom.

Aunt Joyce loved her family so much and also made friends feel like family as well. She was very giving with her love, time and energy. Birthdays were extra special because she would call us, asked what kind of food we wanted and made it all, so delicious, no matter the request. She loved her children wholeheartedly. Married for over 50 years, she was a blessing of a wife to her husband Cornelious Chisom Sr.

Cancer is a horrific villain that preys on really good people. My Aunt Joyce was diagnosed with cancer in October 2022. The progression of her cancer was a terrible shock to us all. On behalf of our family we thank you and will continue to show our gratitude for your support, prayers, donations inquiries, shares of this post, words of comfort and beyond. Thank you.
