Michelle & Joyce's Journey

Hello loving friends and family of my beautiful, selfless best friend, MICHELLE and her dear mother JOYCE. As most of you know, Michelle has been her mother’s sole caregiver for the last 3 years. Joyce took her final breath on 6/2/2023 after a long, excruciating battle with cancer.

Joyce has defeated all odds, living 3 times longer than most with this aggressive type of cancer. This was possible because of the beautiful sacrifices Michelle (and her husband, Greg) have made to care for her around the clock as Joyce adamantly refused any outside help. While I know Michelle regrets nothing, the toll this role has taken on her has been immeasurable physically, emotionally, and financially. Obviously she also had to put her career on hold as well. It’s heartbreaking to see the strongest woman I know completely depleted and beaten down. We all know she never asks for help but believe me, she needs it now!

So, in lieu of flowers or gifts, what Michelle really needs and wants are funds to help with a long, restorative vacation, some seriously neglected self-care sessions, and over-due home repairs.

This is an opportunity to offer a bit of relief and support to the “Super Woman” we all know would not only be there for all of us in a heartbeat; she would be carrying a sword on the front lines!
