Joyce Wilson cremation and celebration of life.

My name is April Wilson. On Thursday, June 20th, we lost our mother, Joyce Wilson. She collapsed on Tuesday around 6:40pm. The ambulance was called and they arrived within minutes. She had coded and was brought back but wasn't breathing on her own. Arriving at the hospital, she coded again and was placed on life support. She had pneumonia and the mucus clogged her airway. She was without adequate oxygen to her brain for too long, leaving her with severe brain damage. After a CT scan, MRI, and monitoring for 48 hours, my dad, sister, brother, and I had to make the hard decision to remove her from life support. She was removed from life support at 9:30pm and gained her wings at 10:04pm.

She didn't have any kind of insurance or income. Her and my father lived off his monthly disability check. We're working on getting her cremated and doing a small celebration of life. She was a stubborn, loving wife, mother, and Nana to 4 grandchildren that loved her dearly. We appreciate all the love and support we've been receiving. We've been asked to start this GoFundMe for anyone that is able or wanting to help in any way. This is a very difficult time for our family but we're all staying strong together!
