Support a Journey Home to Indiana

Hi all!

If you know me you might know some of what I've been through the past 10 years. If not I'll give you a quick recap:

I moved across the country and found out I had cancer. I fought it for 2 1/2 years. As a result of not having a thyroid I gained weight. I had a rare fibroid tumor in my uterus and had to have a hysterectomy. I ended up with infections and needed another surgery and a wound vac for 5 months. I then had to have a gastric bypass and lost 120+ lbs and then 2 more surgeries the past year.

It's been a lot, and rough.

I don't have a support system here in Louisiana, really, because nearly everyone I know is in Indiana.

Moving back, especially alone, won't be easy. Between the cost of a truck or van, gas, and the 14 1/2 hour drive with my dogs? Definitely nerve racking.

I've applied for income based housing, as I'm disabled and have a tight budget and income with bills, and am on a wait list. I need to be READY once they call with a place.

I also just ended my relationship after 7 years. I don't want to discuss the specifics on here but it was rough. That's all I'll say.

If you can help me towards that goal I'd deeply appreciate it!
