Max and Lily were Poisoned at the Park
Donation protected
Hi my name is Carly, and my dogs are Max (black chihuahua mix, 8 months) and Lily (tan chihuahua mix, just turned one year). On Thursday, they got into food at the park that made them very sick. My boyfriend, Tommy, and I rushed them to the emergency vet. After running $1200 diagnostic tests, the vet told us they both had ingested a liver toxin and now have severe damage to their livers. The pieces of bread they found at the park were likely laced with rodenticides. We are heart broken and confused as to why someone would do something so horrible. We were informed that they needed immediate care and hospitalization for at least a few days. The estimate for their life-saving treatment is $9,600. I took out a loan, and I'm currently looking for a second job in order to stay afloat and would be so grateful for your help. I love them so much and love you for possibly donating. They have a lot of life left to live. Tommy and I also ask for your prayers that they may get through this. We thank you all so much.
