Friesen Family Fund

As a parent, the last thing you ever want to hear is that your child is sick or suffering. In the case for the Friesen family it has been taken a step further unfortunately, recently learning that their youngest son Eli has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Initially going to the doctor for pain in his Knee they leave the doctor devastated to learn that not only is there a tumor in his knee but that there are areas of concern on his lungs. To date a plan of chemotherapy and surgeries has been formulated. A little about this remarkable young man, at the young age of 18 He has been working at big T’s Barbeque since his graduation and has always been active as an aspiring skateboarder and was most recently accepted into an apprenticeship program to be a pipe fitter. I have no doubt in my mind that this young man will arise to the challenge at hand and beat this as he has youth and faith on his side.

The purpose of this go fund me page is to assist the family in the coming months as this will undoubtedly deplete all financial and emotional bank accounts. This is a single income family with the only current drivers being Eli and the father Eldon and as Eldon will be taking his son to all of his sons numerous appointments there will be a significant loss of income. This family for as long as I have known them has been involved in the church community and has given even when they struggled themselves. I ask of you from one parent to another as well from one human to another to please find it in your hearts to look out for this family in their time of need even if it is in the way of prayer or just positive thoughts.
