Life’s unexpected turns

Good morning/afternoon friends and family. Well this is something that I NEVER hoped to be writing. But it is needed and gratefully appreciated. As many of you all know my career takes me out of state for months. So I am away from family in these times. I went for a visit to NM on the 7/4 holiday and drove back to Texas with fiancée Carla. She hoped to visit for a bit then head back to NM. But unfortunately she was short of breath and did not feel right. So we went to the emergency room early 7/11 and ended up in admitted to hospital. We are still here and I have not returned to work. The diagnosis is not what we wanted to hear but it’s reality for now. My oldest daughter and grandsons are heading to Texas for support. We have a short term approach that is not to evasive as of now when she gets released. Once released the plan is to return home and get situated with our own primary care Dr’s near extended family. As of now 3 family members are out of work to help support our loved one. Be grateful for whom you have near you each and every day. You never know what turns life will hand you. Carla is a strong woman and we hesitated to even post such a thing but we have a long road ahead of us and humbly put our world before you all.
