Sharon W's Kick Cancer Fund!

To know Sharon Washington is to love her!  

In February 2016, Sharon was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.  Sharon had already been fighting a lifelong battle with Lupus, but to see her in action, you would never guess that she was ill.    With swollen feet and hands, Sharon would be at a Katy Bengal Brigade and Cheer function, volunteering her time with a smile on her face.  As a dedicated mother and friend, she has spent all of her weekdays running from work up to Katy High School to ensure that all of her mommy and volunteer duties were fulfilled!  

Sharon faced further adversity when right before her diagnosis, her husband moved out of their new home.  As a single mother, it became difficult to pay the bills.  In addition, right before chemotherapy was to begin, Sharon's son was rushed to the hospital in need of emergency brain surgery.   In order to remain by her son's bedside, and to take care of his needs, Sharon delayed her own treatments until after her son's recovery.

In the face of adversity, Sharon's faith did not waiver.  She continues to praise God for her many blessings.  Her daily prayer is Phillipians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!  

Sharon does not ask for anything...instead, she gives. She would not ask for our help, but it is her turn to receive.  She has blessed so many others, and needs to be blessed by your love, prayers, and financial support.  The medical bills are overwhelming.  The money raised from your donations will help with the medical expenses.  Due to her illness and the required therapies, she is unable to work.  Sharon needs our help right now.
