Jr. Meza's medical
Donation protected
It’s only after a lot of thought that our family has decided it is time we ask for help:
On August 23rd 2019, Jr Meza was involved in a terrible hit and run accident when a drunk driver struck him, drove over him, and left. He suffered multiple broken bones in his feet, hand, chest, and pelvis leaving him unable to walk and care for himself. We are told it could be 6 to 12 months before he fully recovers from his injuries and is able to walk on his own again. Daily tasks such as sitting up, holding a glass of water, and rolling over are now virtually impossible without excruciating pain. Due to his injuries, Jr will not be able to go back to work for some time. Loss of income, loss of employment, and loss of mobility all make it very hard for him to support his daughters and afford the care he needs. So as a veteran of our armed forces, he turned to the VA for help. Unfortunately, things don’t always move swiftly and he has been placed on a waiting list for any assistance. As of now, the only option he is left with would be in home care, which requires occupational therapy equipment. This equipment is vital for his recovery. Unfortunately, this equipment is also quite expensive.
Today, we as a family, swallow our pride and exhaust all our resources by asking for your help.
If anyone is able and willing to donate in an effort to help Jr with his recovery, he would be forever grateful. Anything and everything will help. Not knowing the exact dollar amount needed, he will use every penny needed to support himself and his daughters through this hard time. Once Jr returns to work, any remaining funds will be promptly donated to a charity of his choosing and you all will be informed in a future social media post.
Thank you all again for everything you have done and will do for our Jr!!
