JR Westmoreland Cancer Medical Expenses Donation
Donation protected
Our brother passed away peacefully during the fight of his life with small cell bladder cancer on November 7th, 2020 at 11:40 pm. JR was born with cancer in his eyes, causing him to be blind his whole life. And over 18 years ago he also fought back cancer. With unable to have a job due to medical problems, we are asking for your donations in helping his family with medical/funeral expenses during this time.
JR lived a great and accomplished life. He was a man of technology and was a computer programer, in which he wrote a talking word processor. He was honored at Weber State University and is a member to the National DECUS Society. A man of many talents, he used to swim in high school, he excelled in snow skiing, riding bikes, black belt karate, DJing, and loved all things science fiction, food and many other talents and fun. But, his favorite thing is being a Loving Husband to Melodie, Father to Lisa and Elena, grandpa to three grand boys and one granddaughter (my princess) and loved all of this service guide dogs. He enjoyed conversation with all this family and friends.
Through the Huntsman Cancer Institute Research and care they have done a great job at prolonging his life with small cell bladder cancer as long as they were able. However, He contracted pneumonia two weeks ago and was on Hospice end of life care. We are praying for his family and loved ones during this time during his passing. We ask for your donations to defray the cost that his family is incurring. We thank you for your love during this time. We will keep you updated with JR's Memorial Service.
