Donna's Medical Fund

I just want to start by saying even though I have created this bio. I have no control over the money, the accounts have been set up to where only my mom (Donna) and only her husband (John) are completely in control of this. With that being said ..

My mom needs your help! And she absolutely will not ask for it but with things getting completely overwhelming, she has agreed. 

Many know my mom Donna (Cowan) McFall. She has been a hard worker ever since I could remember being super little, I always looked up to her for how hard she worked and hoped that I'd be half the woman and mother she was when I grew up. And for those who don't know, My mom has been diagnosed with endo/uterine cancer. She has been unable to work and is on unpaid leave. On top of her diagnosis, she's been a full time care taker for John's father who recently lost his wife, and also my grandparents who just moved down in September. While John is working and holds insurance. It's almost just as worse as not having insurance at all. Her copays have been outrageous. Just the other day, her copay was $562, just for her 1st visit at the cancer institute. ONE VISIT. It's a shame we live in a country that where medical insurance doesn't even help someone struggling already enough. John is also expected to take leave soon also as yesterday we found out mom will have to undergo her first surgery this December, right before Christmas. 

Those who know my mom personally know how much of a huge heart she has and helped everyone and anyone she could, when she could. Donna was well known for organizing beef and beers, holding benefits for those in need and the community when needed. She has started two major support groups including "Delco Hep C Connect" and "C.A.O.S" that helped families with addiction for support. She's also a lifetime member of Bikers against child abuse and abate. 

My mom is to proud to ask for help. We have got a long road ahead of us. Her next surgery is on December 11TH with a 6 week recovery followed by chemo and possible radiation. So I'm asking please let's help relieve some of the financial stress off this wonderful woman who has touched so many so she can worry less about bills and more about kicking cancers ASS!!
