Providing Airlift for Puerto Rico

Everyone knows that Hurricane Maria has decimated Puerto Rico.  People are without power, without running water and in many cases have virtually lost everything.

We have a lot of family in Puerto Rico and when we were trying to think of how we can help, our airplane came to mind.  My husband Julio “J.R” Canales, is a commercial pilot and owns a Cessna 310 with a couple of other friends.

We are partnering with several key organizations that have established key private supply chains that are getting aid to the people.  Initially the C310 proved effective in delivering aid to small communities and provided transport for evacuees and others to airports that provided transport off the island.  But the need was far greater than our little airplane. The mission grew and no longer are we flying the C310. What started as a small single person operation has grown to a large scale airlift operation sourcing large aircraft that can bring significant amounts of aid at a time to these trusted distribution channels. 


We need your help!! As we source larger aircraft we partner with operatorsand often times have to pay for fuel and other services to acquire the lift. It’s always pennies on the dollar costs but it adds up.  A B767 freighter will burn roughly 8,000 gallons of fuel from Miami to San Juan at a cost of about $18,000.  But it can bring 120,000 lbs of aid in one shot to areas that really need the help.  That is extremely cheap!!This is why we need your help.  By donating you help us move the backlog of over 50 million pounds of cargo that’s sitting in warehouses in the US waiting for someone to transport it to Puerto Rico.  Please Donate and follow us!! **UPDATE!**  We have a Citation 2 that has been donated for our use by 30West.  Your continued contributions will help fuel this aircraft and keep it flying as long as possible. We have started flying the Aircraft and have delivered critical medical supplies to a doctors,  about 150 water filtration systems and provided space for evacuees that need medical attention in the US.
