Jennifer and her family
Donation protected
Today, June 27th, 2022, marks the day our dear friend Jennifer (Heartz) Sudsbury began her battle against stage 3C1 cervical cancer.
Jen will spend the next 5-6 weeks undergoing radiation 5x a week along with chemo every week. If everything goes as planned her current treatment will conclude with a stay in Toronto, hundreds of km's from their home in Kingston. There, Jen will undergo Brachytherapy, a localized, concentrated radiation focused more strictly on the tumor.
Financial hardship often accompanies a cancer diagnosis in ways one would never expect. As close friends of Jens and one of us her sister-in-law we have chosen this platform to reach out hoping you all might help us to relieve some of these financial stresses that have already begun for the family.
Most who know Jen know that she is a terrific mom to her children, puppies and her beloved plants! She is also a proud and supportive military wife, showing her devotion to this country by standing beside her husband, no matter where that journey takes their family. We are so proud of them!!!
Unfortunately, this often leaves Jennifer and her husband Josh far from their closest friends and family. We are especially hopeful that this fundraiser will allow her daughter Charleigh and mother Dorothy to travel from PEI to be with Jen as much as possible.
Your kindness and support will help Jennifer and her family through this difficult time and continue to assist right on through her healing.
We understand that it is a financially straining time we are all experiencing, however, if you can support any at all it would be so greatly appreciated. When one is far from the physical comforts of family every single thing operates on the dollar. It isn't just a catch phrase: Every Little Bit Counts!
Thank you, Jeannette Sudsbury, Crysal Stevens, Kathy Finney and Crystal Gallant.
