Hi! My name is Laticia Sumner and I am fundraising for J's Ice Cream Shop in Pierce, NE. This is important to me because they have great ice cream, treats, and food. I want to see this iconic community business stay open. We really enjoy going there and will make the 15-mile trip from Norfolk to Pierce frequently because it is the best around. On our last trip we noticed the shop was for sale and talked with the owner. She recently had back surgery and has had some financial difficulties due to several forms of equipment breaking down. The funds will be used to help her pay bills to continue the business.
