Springwood Primary School Bendrigg 2025

Ellis, who is the husband of a member of staff has kindly volunteered to run the Pen Llyn Welsh Ultra Trail Run and raise money so Friends of Springwood can make a donation towards Bendrigg 2025.

The run is a grueling 50 miles and he is hoping to complete the course in around 9 hours.

Every year Springwood School arranges a residential trip for the year 6 pupils to Bendrigg.

This gives the children opportunity to experience many different indoor and outdoor activities that they may have never had chance to experience before. To find out more about previous Bendrigg trips please click on the link.

Whilst the families of each pupil have to pay for their child's place for Bendrigg, school has to pay for the staff place to accompany our pupils. The cost of this and the transport has grown significantly over recent years so without donations the school would not be able to continue with this marvelous once in a lifetime opportunity for our pupils.

In order for you to help us make a difference, we are urging you to sponsor Ellis in his quest to raise funds for Bendrigg.
