JSC - USA's fundraiser for Jonglei flood victims

Public announcement: JSC- USA fundraiser

Dear Jonglei citizens in the United States, and all South Sudanese in general, the Jonglei State Community-USA is launching a fundraiser event starting on November 20, 2020. The purpose of this fundraiser is to raise $60,000 to meet the basic needs of the Jonglei’s citizens affected by the flood. The flood had hit the people of Jonglei hardly, from Bortown (Jonglei State’s capital) through the entire Bor county’s areas, Twic East, Duk-Payuël (Nyarweng), and to Duk-Padiët (Hol).

In order to response to the continuing needs of the people displaced by the flood, the JSC-USA has created a Go-Fund ME account—paypal DONATION-link, and the fundraiser Team will be hosting some shows-very inclusive--on the JSC-TV media. It is also worth noting that JSC-USA is a nonprofit/charitable organization registered, and it is being run as a 501(c)(3) organization. What this means is that, your donations are fully protected under the laws of the United States. This organization is fully in compliance with the Internal Revenue’s tax-exempt directives.

As the flood scale down in Jonglei and rest of the lower South Sudan; those displaced persons in Jonglei, and in the nearby Lakes state and Central Equatoria state will need medicines and other things such as clothings & non-food items. And as the internally displaced persons prepare to return to their flood-wrecked homes, they will still be facing odds—ripple effects of the disaster.
