A CHANCE TO LIVE A NORMAL LIFE
Everyone deserves a Second Chance and often times people just need someone to have faith in them. Some people need encouragement, while others need a place to live, but ALL need to earn a living. I ask you to help JSCS give them a chance so that they can become responsible contributing members of society.
We are a non-profit 501 (c)(3) staffing agency helping the judicially served (e.g., prison, jail, probation) population, as well as those who do not have a criminal background. "We Believe in Second Chances" Everyone of us is one degree of separation of some who has a criminal background and most of the time the difference is you didn't get caught.
We are so much more than a staffing agency, not only do we help place people in jobs, but we deal with the "whole-man". We access the person and connect them with mental health, spiritual, housing, food and etc. We provide job readiness, self-esteeem, basic computer skills, life skills and basic finance. After we place them, we provide case management to help them transition back into society.
We need your help in two ways: 1) Donate to help us keep the doors open 2)We need business owners and cooporations to utilize our services. We are located in Durham and Greensboro, NC but do service companies throughout the state. Our organization is currently funded through donations. We have no paid staff.
