Christina's Medical Treatment/Bills

My name is Christina and I am a 26 year old living with Nephrotic Syndrome and FSGS. I was fortunate enough to match with my mother for a Kidney Transplant in April 2011 (along with having a partial thyroidectomy in August 2011). The last 3 years have been a roller-coaster ride of sickness and even good news for my health. On the other hand, after not feeling like myself for almost 2 months, I went to a new doctor for another opinion and found out I have Adrenal Failure, Lymes Disease, Candida (Yeast Overgrowth/Leaky Gut)... amongst a few other things currently being tested. I need to get my Adrenals in shape so my new kidney can keep up the GREAT work and keep functioning for the 2 old ones! (YES, I have 3!).

I am looking to raise this money to pay off the rest of my treatments, medication, & bills that my insurance doesn't cover. I will have to drive almost 2 hours away for at least 6 weeks to receive Adrenal Shots and take on some new medications. This is the beginning of a new healing journey for me and I thank you in advance to anyone who can help!!!

Update on 1/27/15 - I spoke with the doctor's office/nurse and it looks like I'll be needing a lot more shots & medical care than I thought. I'm going to most likely need 6 rounds of shots (6 shots in each round - 1 shot per week for 9 months). I will be starting herbal kits as soon as they come in & also getting further testing & bloodwork through my kidney specialist to make sure everything is staying in order.
