The Warm Hands, Warm Hearts Initiative was founded in 2017 by Ashley Taylor of Taylor Made Event Creations & Jessica Woodley of CDSSA to give back to Toronto's less fortunate during the holiday season.
Jessica Woodley of CDSSA has organized this GoFundMe campaign to raise money for the Warm Hands, Warm Hearts initiative this year. Jessica Woodley will be responsible to withdraw the money in her name and delivering the funds to Warm Hands, Warm Hearts.
With the money rasied we will purchase and distribute care packages with essentials as well as socks, gloves, and a warm meal to 450 of the city's homeless on December 16th, 2018. Our Initiative will take place at the John Innes Community Recreation Centre located at 150 Sherbourne St, Toronto, ON.
Toronto's homeless face many serious issues, some of which include a decline in mental health, drug addiction, and inability to deal with the city's high cost of living. As a result, the death toll for the homeless has been dramatically increasing each year.
We hope to shine a light on this matter and will be collecting donations From November 21st 2018 to December 15th 2018.
We truly appreciate all your support!
Thank you :)
