6633 Arctic Ultra for St Lukes Hospice Sheffield
With your help, I hope to raise funds for St Luke's Hospice Sheffield in my cousin, Roger Clinton's memory. I will be taking part in the 6633 Classic Arctic Ultra - 380 miles in 9 days, starting 23rd February 2023. Known for being the most challenging, coldest and windiest footrace in the world, where temperatures can reach -50 degrees celsius, this race starts at the Arctic Circle and goes directly north to Tuktoyaktuk on the Arctic Ocean. Entrants are totally self-sufficient, pulling all their food and equipment on a pulk sledge and hopefully avoiding Arctic wildlife.
Rog knew I was doing this race and was excited at the prospect of helping St Luke's which took such wonderful care of him, as they continue to do for others with their dedicated work.
Roger's mum, Pat, sister Leigh and her family, are fully supportive and also helping raise awareness of this challenge.
Please support me on my walk for Roger. I will post more training photos over the coming weeks. When the race begins next February, live tracking will be available and I will post that link nearer the time.
Please check out the 6633 Classic Arctic Ultra website.
Thank you
