It all started when I missed the sign up for Medicare and when I was admitted to the hospital I was given part A but not part B quickly had bills for over 12,00 dollars. One rehab charged $10,000 but refunded it when they were reimbursed. This paid several bills especially when they gave a discount.
I needed some one to be with me so I hired a home health group. I wish I could say it was worth the $30,000 for three months that they charged. One of the ladies who stayed with me forged checks in my name, but the most egregious act was taking checks I wrote those afore mentioned debts and put her name and cashed them. I thought I had paid them but she took the records of them.
She took a total of $2,600.00 and she was given no jail time, she did not have to pay the money back, but was told not to do that again!a
The bank let the home care company charge $15,000 OVER THE LIMITand they have been harassing me almost every day even in the hospital and rehabs. They say there are no payments being paid when I give $500.00 every month. They are not satisfied with that amount and they continue to charge high interest and late fees though I am never late.I owed nothing before this happened and now I cant pay it unless there is help and I am hoping this fund willhelp with this debt.
