Help for Koba

This is Koba a 4 year old american akita who escaped from home with Darcy another family dog on 29.1.23. The Lost Dog Trapping team became involved and thankfully Darcy was found safe. Unfortunately Koba was hit by a train.

As well as cuts and grazes he sustained a foot injury with crushed toes and has had an operation today to remove 2 1/2 toes. He may have to lose his leg but we are trying to stay positive. His injury will need monitoring and regular dressing changes and he needs to be sedated for this as he is, understandably, not a happy boy at the moment.

Koba doesn't have insurance and his loving family are not able to pay the vets fees. Current estimate is around £1500. With your help we are hoping to raise this amount to give Koba the medical attention he needs and support his family through this worrying and stressful time. We will of course provide updates of his progress and copies of the vets bills. Thank you x
