Help the Nicholson Family

Hi, I am one of the friends going back decades of our beloved friend Jeff “Nic” Nicholson. As you know, Nic passed away suddenly on Thanksgiving eve. He went to sleep looking forward to a Thanksgiving with his family, to enjoying a weekend of sports and discussing the games with his friends as he always loved to do, and never awoke.

The profoundness of this shock is matched only by the depth of love so many had for him—starting with his wife Sharon and their three children, Alex, Kate, and Derek.

And, well, they need us. This shock not only left Sharon and the kids without the rock of their lives but also in a stunning financial predicament. And we who love them all have to help.

Nic was a rare man, as kind and sweet as he was physically imposing, always looking out for others, always there with a smile and a quiet act of decency and friendship. Who didn’t feel better after being around Nic?

This is our time to express gratitude for his friendship, our unity in love for him and his family. We know everyone’s financial situation is different. All we can ask is to remember Nic with love and to give however much you can to help his family. Give, as they say, until it hurts and because it hurts. Give in love, in friendship, in brotherhood.

The majority of funds raised will go toward paying down the mortgage, and the remainder will go toward family expenses.
