Juan Garcia and Family Surviving Diabetic Coma

My name is Carlo Ahumada and I'm the organizer for this fundraiser for Brother Juan Garcia and his family. Everyone has been touched by diabetes in their life time, whether its a family member, friend, relative or even yourself. Personally this is not the first time that Diabetes has affected someone close to me,  with that said I was grief stricken when we got the news that Juan Garcia had fallen Ill and was unresponsive as he was rushed to the hospital on Sunday the 3d of January. He had to be resuscitated twice on the way to emergency, his liver, pancreas and kidneys shut down and blood sugar levels were at 1600. He wasn't responding to stimulus and had to be ventilated to breath. Juan had fallen into a Diabetic coma. The unknown is always the scariest part and we knew he was getting medical treatment, at this point what Juan needed was prayer and the power of positive thoughts, his wife Vicki and three kids however needed consideration as well...her husband...their father is gravely ill and is the sole provider for their household. Aside from our love and kinship for Juan we knew we had to help his family, he would do it for us! Juan is still in ICU and in critical  condition fighting for his life. This is the inspiration for this page. If everyone can please send this page to their friends and people who may know and understand the ramifications of diabetes, if they could donate even a dollar or two would be appreciated and helping a great person and his family.
