I am reaching out in the midst of an unthinkable tragedy that has befallen my family. On October 16th, 2023, my father, Juan Piña-Recendiz, died. This unimaginable event has left us devastated and grappling with the pain of losing my beloved father. He was more than just my dad; he was the cornerstone of my family. He worked tirelessly to provide for us, sacrificing his own needs and desires to ensure we had a roof over our heads, food on the table, and opportunities for a better future. He loved my mother, brother, and I and nothing will ever change that. As the sole breadwinner, he carried the weight of our household on his shoulders, and he did it with love and dedication. The sudden loss has not only left a void in our hearts but also brought financial challenges that we never anticipated. We are now faced with the overwhelming burden of arranging a proper funeral to honor his memory and bid him a heartfelt farewell. The costs associated with this tragedy are beyond our means and we humbly ask for your support during this trying time. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help alleviate the financial strain we are experiencing. Estoy pidiendo apoyo durante esta tragedia impensable que ha sucedido a mi familia. El 16 de octubre de 2023 falleció mi padre, Juan Piña-Recendiz. Este evento inimaginable nos ha dejado devastados con el dolor de perder a mi amado padre. Él era más que solo mi papá; él era el pilar de mi familia. Amaba a mi madre, a mi hermano y a mí y nada cambiariá eso. Como el único sosténto de la familia, llevaba sobre sus hombros el peso de nuestra casa, y lo hacía con amor y dedicación. La pérdida no solo dejó un vacío en nuestros corazones sino que también trajo gastos que nunca anticipamos. Ahora nos enfrentamos a la carga de organizar un funeral adecuado para honrar su memoria y darle una sentida despedida. Los gastos asociados con esta tragedia están fuera de nuestro alcance y humildemente pedimos su apoyo durante este momento difícil.
