I’m reaching out with a deeply personal request for support as I embark on a critical step in my journey toward living authentically. I'm seeking to raise £6,700 to cover the costs of my top surgery, which includes the surgery itself, travel expenses, and the wages I’ll lose from taking a week off work for recovery.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve felt a disconnect with my body, and this has only intensified over the years. The constant discomfort and the mental toll of wearing a binder—especially during summer—have made each day a challenge. I’ve been fortunate to fund most of my transition myself, but this final step is beyond what I can manage alone.

I haven’t been very open about my gender dysphoria publicly, but I’ve shared my struggles with close friends who have been incredibly supportive. However, as the year progresses and my goal of having surgery by its end approaches, I find myself needing to reach out to the broader community for help.

The prospect of living without a binder, of finally feeling at home in my own body, is something I hold close to my heart. This surgery is not just a physical change; it’s a lifeline to improved mental health and a happier, more authentic life.
