Hi I’m Mia!

On the 17th of June I’m going to be skydiving for the Jude Harvey foundation which supports the prevention of young sudden cardiac death.

Every week in the UK at least 1, seemingly fit and healthy young person aged between 14 -35 die from undiagnosed heart conditions. In 80% of these cases there were no prior symptoms.

In July 2023, Jude Harvey passed away from a sudden cardiac arrest whilst on holiday at the young age of 19.

Loosing such a kind spirited boy with a character larger than life has shifted the worlds of many people including my best friend Maddie Berry.

I can’t begin to understand the loss and heartache that his family and friends have been through. Which is one of the many reasons I have been so moved by his story.

The Jude Harvey foundation was created by Jude’s family, and their vision is to help create a future where every young person aged 14-35, regardless of their background or circumstances, has access to the support, resources and opportunities they need to thrive and be healthy.

envision a world where heart health is prioritised and understood and where no family has to endure the pain of losing a loved one to maintainable or preventable conditions.

I really hope to raise as much money as possible for this incredible organisation. Any support or help would be greatly appreciated to raise awareness and prevent this from happening to someone else’s family
