Jude & Leo's 3 Peaks Challenge to build a water well in Gaza
Hello. We're Jude and Leo (brothers, 10 & 8 years old) and we are going to undertake the massive challenge of scaling Mount Snowdon with our little legs, the highest Welsh peak at a towering 1085metres. Training is underway today with 3.8miles trialling their new walking boots. The next stop is Scafell Pike, England's highest mountain at 978metres. Finally, if our little bodies can manage it (but we're still willing to try), we are tackling the monsterous Ben Nevis in Scotland at 1345metres.
We are doing all this to support the fundraising for a water well to be built in the city of Deir Al-Balah, Gaza, where some of our friends come from in Palestine. Infrastructure has been decimated in the last 10 months and whatever your beliefs we think that no children, like us, should die from bombing, starvation and especially dehydration from the lack of reliable water sources. We all take water for granted here, so please please donate to help us, through our endeavours, to raise money to help the children of Gaza receive the most basic need in clean drinking water.
*Our parents are financing the transport, accommodation, etc. All donations to go direct to building the well.
One love
Jude & Leo
