Simon helped Save Dylan Avila
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Ben Floyd. I am a friend of Dylan Avila and have been a part of the huge ongoing effort to help with the aftermath of the attack that took place Monday night at the Renton Local 907.
I'm sure by now we've all heard about the tragedy that befell Dylan Avila, a married father of three, Monday night when he was attacked with a baseball bat while hosting a show, and ended up in the hospital having surgery and titanium plates put in his head. Or, you may have seen it on the Q13, Komo 4, or Kiro 7 news.
Who you may not have heard about is our friend Simon Kaufman, the unsung hero, who was one of the first people to tackle the man with the bat, possibly saving Dylan's life.
Make no mistake, Simon is a hero.
Simon was injured while rescuing Dylan and now needs surgery, and has no insurance. He's too humble to ask. Let's help him out.
