Judy Cisler Memorial Crosswalk
Donation protected
Meet Judy. Mother, grandmother, wife... the one to always share a smile, a laugh, and a cookie.
We lost Judy on 2/14/24 near the corner of Cass and Bellevue Streets, when she and her husband were struck by a vehicle while crossing. It was a tragic accident in an area that was noted to need additional safety measures - specifically, pedestrian crossing lights, or what the city refers to as RRFB. And we want to do something about it.
While nothing will replace Judy or fill the hole that losing her has created, we are looking to make a positive difference in the safety of others in her memory. So, if you knew Judy, know her family, or even simply understand the need for steps to keep our communities safer for all, please join us in raising funds. These will be used for a dedication bench at the site, and a donation toward moving the crosswalk from the originally planned location.
On behalf of the family, thank you for helping us reach our goal, and our efforts to do something meaningful and positive after such a senseless event.
