Judy Foley Memorial Fund

Judy Foley passed away the morning of 09/29/21. Adored by so many at home and in the festival circuit.

Judy and Dave run the Things From Rings booth at the Michigan Renaissance Festival. She also took care of the memorial garden by their booth. She planted many of the flowers that grow there every year. She was a giver, no matter what her situation was, she always wanted to help others.

Dave and Judy have hosted the Royal Court at their booth for many years and have provided a safe haven for us. We couldn't be more grateful for their kindness and hospitality. Allowing us to invade their space and “camp out” as it were. They are family to the Royal Court in so many ways.

 

Judy was a dear friend to me since 2009, and I looked to her as a mother figure. We always talked about getting together to play Yaztee, but never got around to doing so. I, along with others, helped her to prep the booth space in recent years and with any other issues that arose throughout the seasons.

 

I know there are way more people who have known her longer than me, so please share any stories you would like included here.

 

I wanted to get help going for Dave as soon as possible. All proceeds will be forwarded directly to Dave.

 

Please donate for funeral costs and expenses. If you can't donate, please share.

 

Any funds not used for the funeral will be used for general expenses for Dave, so he is allowed to grieve.
