Help a Father Reunite with his Only Surviving Child

My name is Hannah and I am fundraising for Judy Abu Jari, a three-year-old in G@z@ who has lost her mother, all her siblings (four-year-old Rodin, two-year-old Muhammad, and one-year-old Jawad), her aunt, her uncle, and grandparents. All martyrs killed by Isr@el. Judy’s father, Hossam Abu Jari, went to get flour and upon his return, found his home destroyed and family, including Judy, under the rubble. Judy was the only survivor. On top of this trauma and unimaginable loss, she still suffers from a skull fracture, an abdominal wound, and broken legs. She has also developed a tremor that has no medical cause.

I have been able to get her on an organization's evacuation list to get medical care. But she cannot go alone and her father still must pay Egypt $5,000 to accompany her. It is imperative for her physical and psychological well-being that she is evacuated as quickly as possible.

Hossam asked me to raise these funds. I will wire the money to Hossam’s brother-in-law who has already been evacuated to Egypt. I have already sent one payment to cover some living costs. Judy and Hossam’s house was destroyed and like most G@z@n’s, Hossam has been unable to work since the aggression began. This next payment will help them get to and find shelter in Egypt. They will also help with Judy's medical expenses.

After learning about Judy from an Instagram video posted by the journalist Hani Abu Rezeq, I contacted Hossam. We have since been messaging for weeks. He keeps me updated about Judy daily and even sends me voicememos from her. We have formed a very tight bond. Judy now calls me “Auntie”. They are both very close to my heart. This is why I am here, asking you all to help us get them to safety as soon as possible.
