Judy Williams Crafts cremation and burial
Donation protected
The world lost a beautiful soul on July 4, 2022. Judy Williams Crafts was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, friend, and human. She devoted her life to her family and to volunteering to serve and care for others. Like her mother, she could make you laugh or smile with her words, or simply by her presence. She never asked for anything and would have given someone in need her last dollar. She was that kind of person. Judy’s immediate family is much like her; they have difficulty asking for help. Judy’s wish was to be cremated and buried with her husband and daughter, Tina, both of whom predeceased her. The cost of the bare minimum of services is $4,200. Her siblings and remaining daughter, Mary, are willing to cover whatever expenses are necessary to honor her wishes; however, none have the means to do so. They would need to draw from retirement accounts, sell possessions, and put themselves at financial risk in order to pay for these services. They will not accept direct assistance from the rest of the family, believing it is their responsibility as the closest of kin. Like Judy, they are willing to take the risk upon themselves rather than ask for help. So, I am doing the asking. Please consider helping honor Judy by supporting her family. The last thing Judy would want is to put her family at financial risk. Anything collected that is not needed for her cremation and burial will be donated to her charity of choice, the Salvation Army, to which she was committed for most of her life. Thank you for your consideration.
