Pay it forward

I’ve seen this family walking around Yuma along with many other Yuma county residents. From what I’ve read the parents are on the streets and the kids at night stay with relatives. Let’s help this family get some sort of transportation to get around Yuma and help them get back on their feet. I know quite a few people want to help and I think this is a start.

12/05/18 What I read on FB was true. The family is homeless and at night the kids stay with a relative.  I am in contact with the family and made Carlos (father of the children) and Jessica  ( mother of the children) aware of the gofundme account.  
Update:
After a FB post and KYMA broadcasting https://www.kyma.com/news/yuma-samaritans-come-together-for-a-homeless-family/913242644 the family’s  situation a local organization got in contact with the family.  The local organization was able to house the family in a hotel for a week. The organizations  case manager is  working with Carlos and Jessica. After the FB post many local residents wanted to give donations such as food and clothing. Thank you to Tara Buford.   Tara helped  organize a small drop off for donations (food, clothing, diapers) for this family.  As of 12/08/18 Tara is no longer accepting donations for the family, however it was a kind gesture for Tara to  offer her house and hold items to give to the family.  


The family is a long way from being financially stable.  

I am in contact with the family and made the mother of the children Jessica Madrid  the beneficiary of this account.  Jessica will be able to have access to the account to make withdrawals.  ❤️ Thank you for “paying it forward.”
