Hello! My name is Sebastian. I am a 24-year-old German composer who just completed my degree at the Royal Northern College of Music in the UK. I’ve been accepted to the Masters program in Composition at the Julliard School! I’m excited to move to New York City and study with composer John Corigliano, who has won a Pulitzer Prize, five Grammy Awards, a Grawemeyer Award for Music Composition, and an Oscar.
My love for New York City inspired me to collaborate with the architects of the new World Trade Center on a symphony to honor those who died at the site and to celebrate the resilience and vision of those who rebuilt it. I am looking forward to composing this symphony under John Corigliano’s guidance while at Juilliard.
