Julia and Sean

Our dearest Sean passed away at 7:02 pm on Jan 4th, following a brief and courageous battle with metastatic melanoma to the brain. In alignment with his final wishes, Sean's loved ones surrounded him when he passed (whether physically at his bedside or holding him in their minds and hearts from afar).
Please consider bringing meals to Julia and her support team. She's often sharing meals with folks visiting her at home, so having enough to share or eat twice is lovely. We've added some dates to the MealTrain and this is a great way to show support and mourn together--I grew up consuming love through food and fully believe in its powers to heal and comfort. https://www.mealtrain.com/trains/wd0oo7
10/2023 Update:
Sean has a diagnosis of malignant metastatic melanoma, but is fortunate to be living in this time and place. After meeting with his care team today, he’s feeling confident in his treatment plan (which starts tomorrow!) and his doctor (who is smart, has great bedside manner, and thought Sean was funny and fell instantly in love with him). Keep sending all your love and wishes to Sean and Julia—they help!
To the Sean and Julia Fan Club,
Now is a time we get to wrap our love and support around the amazing Sean and Julia. We are still waiting on details of the diagnosis and treatment plans, but our dearest Sean has been diagnosed with cancer. His girlfriend Julia has been by his side and providing incredible love, care and (less glamorously) logistical support. We want to provide her with the financial support necessary to continue to do so. Donated funds will help cover rent and living expenses like gas and food so that this one thing can be taken off of the list of things they're thinking about and remind them that their community is wrapped around them.
Updates will be provided here as more unfolds. There may be other kinds of support that become helpful as time goes on (meals, company, rides) and we will add those here. I invite you to share this page with anyone who knows these two and/or just loves supporting others.
For right now, Sean and Julia are feeling literally overwhelmed with gratitude. Please know that they are receiving your support and are incredibly thankful, but we are relieving them of the duty to thank folks individually. We will just be quietly taking financial stress off of the table for them.
With love and appreciation,
Lis and Anna
