Julia M Shields(Stroke Recovery)

On Wednesday 3-1-2017 tragedy & heartbreak struck our family when our vivacious Julia suffered from a mid brain stroke. Currently she is unable to walk without assistance, her speech is extensively impaired & the left side of her face has suffered obvious paralysis. She will be moved from St. Agnes to a nursing home where they will begin rehabilitation. The length of her stay will be determined after the first four weeks. At this time it is unknown how long or if, Julia will regain all she has lost physically.

Julia Shields is a mother to Jordan and Jerod, her most treasured title & joy is being Madilyn's Grandmother. Madilyn is 10 years old & depends heavily on her Grandmas loving support. Julia has shared in raising Madilyn since she was a baby. Julia is also a beloved sister to her 8 siblings, 22 nieces & nephews as well as all her countless great nieces & nephews. She takes time to have a personal relationship with each one of us.

Professionally she is a Mortgage Loan Specialist. She works closely with the Spanish speaking community. Julia is a very honest & kind business person who truly enjoys helping people.

We are raising money for the mounting medical expenses, cost of living & over all road to recovery, alleviating them from the stress that finances create.
