Julian Hernandez- My Mom’s Funeral
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Julian Hernandez, I am raising money for my mother's funeral expenses. I’m hoping with this money, I can give my mom a proper burial and ceremony.
My mother, Rocio, passed away on November 3 at 5:00’in the morning at 47 years old. She had a long fight with addiction and trauma throughout her life. Life wasn’t always kind to her and, unfortunately, always got the best of her.
Anyone who knew my mom would say she always knew how to lighten up a room. There was never a dull moment with her. Her energy and smile were contagious. She loved r&b and hip-hop and loved to dance. Life to her wasn’t always as serious as everyone made it seem. She knew how to live in the moment.
I am the oldest of seven. I'm proud to say I could hold every one of my siblings, even if it were for a short time. The love my mother had for each of her children was genuine.
Even through our trials and tribulations, I will never forget the good times. The times my mother fought to be “normal” and hide her past traumas. For that, I admire her. I've always seen a little of her in me, and I will always be proud. It took a lot of strength to face what life threw at her. My mother was small, but she was strong. She was fearless but compassionate. Seeing her go through everything she’s been through has taught me the true meaning of unconditional love. Love that does not hold grudges. Love that does not keep count. Love that loves.
Anyone who knows me knows how much I truly love my mother. She’s all I ever had and the only one I will ever have. With your help, I could lay my mom to a proper rest. I really appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you.
