In Memory of Julian Zárate Triste (Daniel)

- Julian Zárate Triste (known to some as Daniel) passed away on January 26, 2024. He was 46 years old. He leaves behind his wife, Francisca, their son, Carlos Armando Zárate, age 24, and their precious 5 year old daughter, Crystal.
- Julian contracted COVID in July of 2020. He spent 6 months in the hospital, with much of that time in ICU, in a coma and on a ventilator. Julian lost a total of 80 pounds. He was able to return home in January of 2021, on oxygen 24 hours a day.
- Because of the severe damage to Julian’s lungs, caused by COVID, he was in need of a complete (double) lung transplant. Julian received his transplant on December 8, 2023.
- Unfortunately, Julian had severe bleeding and required several blood transfusions. He was intubated for two weeks and then a tracheotomy was performed.
- Julian’s hands and feet began to turn black. Soon his medical team told Francisca that there was nothing more that could be done for Julian.
- Francisca remained by her husband’s side until the very end. Julian left his earthly body for a heavenly one!
- This family needs our support to help with funeral expenses and for future expenses for Francisca and Crystal.
