Fundraising for Juliana's Brain Tumor Surgery

Juliana Adu is a young Ghanaian veterinarian, who has just begun her very green and prospective career. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with a pituitary macroadenoma in 2014, and had been on medications. The tumor is no longer responsive to drugs, and has begun spreading to other parts of the brain really fast. Daily, she suffers from severe headaches, blurred vision and dizziness. Due to the COVID19 restrictions and financial constraints, her emergency surgery has been postponed severally.
Her case has now been referred to the Mahatma Gandhi Health Care, India: her surgery date is scheduled for April and the exact date will be confirmed after payments are made. The total amount for her surgery and trip costs is $18,000 (equivalent to €15,100).
