At the most difficult time of my life, I’m simultaneously struggling to grieve the gut wrenching death of my 28 year old daughter while raising her three year old daughter and trying to figure out how to pay the mountain of expenses that accompany a death, burial, and memorial.
Julianne died without life insurance or any other means of wrapping up the loose ends of this life. Unmarried, she left behind three little girls, all under the age of 5, who will sadly never know or even remember their mother. She left behind a family of parents and stepparents, brothers and sisters, aunts, uncles, and cousins all asking the same questions - “Why now?” and “How do we move forward?”.
As her surviving next of kin, Julianne’s father and I are left bearing the cost of her burial and memorial. Neither of us are millionaires - one recently retired, the other raising Julianne’s three year old daughter, Michele.
Our heartfelt thanks are given to anyone who feels moved to help us with the all-too-brief final chapter in our daughter’s life story.
