Hi, my name is Diva. It is with immense heartache that we’re left to announce the passing of Julie Nushawg my baby sister . On May 6th, we received news that no one ever hopes to receive. She passed away due to a tragic accident leaving behind her daughter, life partner and a family that loved her very much. She was a daughter, sister, mother, auntie, loyal friend and means the world to us all. Words can't describing how devastated and heartbroken our family is.

At this moment, we can only think to humbly ask for any donations for the next steps we will face, as we attempt to move forward from this unexpected and tragic loss together as a family with the funeral and memorial that she deserves. We will do whatever it takes and come together to honor her memory and say our last goodbyes. She could never be forgotten. Anyone who got the opportunity to meet Juju can certainly say that she was a light here on Earth, and now she will be a light that guides us.
