Support Tyler Wallace's Ongoing Healthcare

During a routine eye exam, Tyler (Bear) Wallace's doctors discovered troubling vision issues, prompting further investigation that led to him being transferred via emergency vehicle from Ft. Myers to Miami for treatment at a children’s hospital in Miami. After undergoing several tests, it was discovered that he has a small tumor in his brain.

On July 23, he underwent an intense 10+ hour surgery to remove the tumor for biopsy and to prevent it from causing neurological issues in the future.

While the prognosis is promising, Tyler faces a challenging road to recovery, accompanied by significant medical expenses due to continued care by the amazing team of doctors located in Miami.

Julie Wallace, Tyler’s amazing mama, has not left his side since he entered the hospital and will need to take a substantial amount of time off work as a USPS mail carrier to care for Tyler during his recovery and continued treatment of issues related to his vision. Our community can help alleviate the financial strain on Julie, allowing her to focus entirely on supporting Tyler's journey.

We all know that Tyler is the sweetest kid in the entire world, with an amazing sense of humor, the cutest smile and best attitude. Despite the challenges, he has been handling his hospital stay like a champ! You shouldn’t be surprised that he’s a favorite among the nurses who adore him and often spoil him with extra treats and attention. He’s literally the best!
