Julie Bernard Memorial Fund

Hi all,
As most of you may know, my lifelong friend/ sister/ co-conspirator Julie passed away Tuesday. She leaves behind the love of her life. His name is Jax . Most of you haven't seen Julie since she became a mom but the minute that Julie had Jax something changed. It was like something that had been missing from her life had suddenly arrived. He is an adorable 2.5 year old little boy. Like most little boys, it takes money to raise them, whether it be new clothes for his growth spurts, hockey equipment, or his education fund. As Julie was a single mom and taken tragically from us, I'm hoping that some of her friends will come together to help with his upbringing. Julie touched so many of us, and I know that the most important thing to her was this gorgeous little boy. I am starting a trust fund to help with the costs that Jax's grandparents are sure to incur. The funds from this trust will go towards his well being and education. I will be opening a bank account for his guardians at RBC and the money will be invested for his future. Since so many people have reached out to me to ask what they can do, I think this is the best way to honor Jules's life. This little monkey meant the most to her and I know that she will rest better knowing that he will be taken care of. Now more than ever the old expression seems relevant, "it takes a village to raise a child". Love to all of you.
