Julie Childress Memorial Fund

My name is Heath Houston and I am Julie Childress' brother. Julie unexpectedly passed away on March 22nd after battling complications from COVID along with other long-term health issues. Julie was a beloved wife, stepmother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be greatly missed by everyone that knew and loved her.

We've learned that Julie made lots of friends and connections on Facebook. Some of that we knew but didn't understand the extent of it until now. Many of you have written very nice comments on her page and posted about how she influenced and encouraged you. Others spoke about how sweet and kind she was. All your comments have really encouraged us during this difficult time and we are very thankful and glad that so many others knew and loved her for her encouragement, bubbly attitude, witty sense of humor, and occasional sassy comment. She was one-of-a-kind.

Julie's death has left a hole in our hearts but has also left a hardship on her husband Jeff. We were encouraged to create a GoFundMe and share it on Facebook so that all those whom she touched would have an opportunity to show their respect and love for her by blessing Jeff. We are doing that to help him in covering the cost of uncovered medical bills and funeral costs.
