Julie Bongiorno Froggett's Dream
Donation protected
Dear, friends,
This GoFundMe request is for funds to send Julie Bongiorno Froggett, who has Stage 4 Gastric Cancer, on a vacation she's always dreamed of.... a trip to Hawaii with her husband, Jeff, for their 25th Wedding Anniversary.
Please help Julie live out her dream as she continues the fight against this insidious disease known as gastric cancer. From the onset, Julie's cancer source was never completely known (it's actually called CUP - Cancer of Unknown Primary), which proved most challenging for doctor's until finally, in April of this year, and after several visits to MD Anderson Hospital in Houston Texas, a final diagnosis of gastric cancer was rendered.

With ongoing tests, chemo therapy every two weeks as well as trips to MD Anderson every two months, Julie's positive attitude has been absolutely unwavering. Even through this difficult time she continues to be a loving Mom to her two daughters, devoted wife and part time care giver to her mother who has Alzheimer's disease. No matter how difficult the circumstances surrounding her illness Julie never complains. Her resolve and positive attitude are boundless and even when things are tough, and the news is not always good, she somehow manages to find a bright side. Once asked how she was doing and if she was scared Julie replied, "I am ok. I have seen children with cancer during my treatments. Things could always be worse for me."
At this time the chemotherapy Julie received has stopped working and she has now started an immuno-therapy treatment in the hopes that it will stop the spread of her cancer. Your prayers for her would be welcome as we are praying for a miracle.
As Julie and Jeff approach their twenty fifth wedding anniversary this October 9th, what better time to give them the dream vacation getaway that they have been promising each other for years.
Thank you for your support of this dream and for keeping Julie and her family in your prayers. Your kindness is truly appreciated.
