Julie Gagne

Our beloved Julie recently passed on January 31, 2024. Julie was a valued member of the community, who will be remembered for her vibrant sense of humor and benevolent spirit.

Those who knew Julie will remember her as a powerful force in the local community. Julie was a mentor and advocate for incarcerated women through AISS. She worked for and with several community organizations including Square One, Gandara Center's Hope for Holyoke, and Valor Recovery Center. Julie continued to work toward a Masters Degree in Counseling/Addiction Studies while working for MassHire in Holyoke.

We are all devastated by Julie's loss and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give Julie the memorial she deserves, to honor her memory, and say our last goodbyes.

I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Julie's funeral. We need to raise $6,900 by February 16, 2024 in order to be able to afford the funeral service. All remaining proceeds will be given to Julie's daughter to assist in her pursuit of a higher education.
