Julie wanted me to tell everyone thank you for your caring and for your prayers. She is overwhelmed with all the donations, cards and gifts and flowers and visits that she received. She is home now and recovering but will need many more weeks of in-home physical therapy. Please continue to pray for her that God will bless her with a full recovery.
Thank you,
Gayle

Updated 07/15/23.
I was able to spend time on Thursday, Friday and today with Julie. It was great to see first hand how much progress she has made. They moved her to rehab yesterday and she is getting up and moving around a lot now. We don’t know how long she will be in recovery. Everybody’s opinion from RNs, nurse practitioners, physical therapist, doctors all have a different opinion. It ranges from 1 to 2 weeks to 1 to 24 weeks so we really don’t know how much will be at the hospital and how much will be at home.

Please continue to pray for her as she has a lot of recovery ahead of her. Please also go visit her if you can. She loves visitors!!

Thank you for your support.

Updated 07/08/23:

Today is Julie’s 9th day in the hospital with many more to come. She is doing better and fortunately has had a few days with only a little pain. Praise our Heavenly Father for this blessing. Thank you everyone who has prayed for her, came to visit, stayed with her and supported this account. It truly does take a village in times like this. Words cannot describe our gratitude for all you have done.

She will have another surgery on Wednesday to remove the halo on her ankle if everything looks good at that time. That will give her a lot of relief so please pray for it to happen and for her.

Again, thank you and please continue praying for my sister.

Hello everyone who knows and cares about Julie (Hunsberger) Kieffer.

My sister Julie (Hunsberger) Kieffer was in a car accident last Thursday and sustained multiple serious injuries.

Since Julie has always been the caregiver of her community I feel it is time for her to be the recipient of care.

The first and most important thing I am asking for is prayers for Julie’s healing. And prayers for her to have patience and tolerance during her recovery. We all know Julie is a go-getter and this down time is hard on her to accept.

People have asked how they can help. First prayers, second go visit her and third if anyone wants to donate to her medical bills they can.

Thank you,
Gayle
