Help Julie Macadam Wiktoreck beat cancer!

Hello, My name is Mary Tehan Simon and I am here seeking financial assistance for one of my oldest and dearest friends as she battles Cancer. Julie was very recently and unexpectedly diagnosed with non small cell lung cancer with metastasis to the brain and several other areas. Julie's treatment team is located at the Miami Cancer Institute which consists of a round trip total of three hours from her home in Key Largo. Julie is solely supporting her two daughters and has no sick time left at her job and has already been to Miami twenty times in the last month. She has started radiation with little side effects but now is beginning chemo. Her first treatment was Friday 2/23 and she was unable to go to work the following Monday. Please consider donating to help Julie with her cost of living so that she can focus on getting better without having to worry about financials. I have been blessed to know Julie for @ 53 years. We grew up in the same neighborhood and first met when I was 4 and she was 5. I had just moved in and fell off my bike in front of 86 Oneta. She actually laughed at me, but, being someone of humor, I probably laughed too and the rest is history. We had a great childhood and enjoyed drawing, singing to her brother's 45's(when he wasn't home), playing barbies, playing outside and my favorite, talking about life. We still do this to this day! We got our first apartments together, roomed in college, and she was in my wedding. It's not only that we've known each other forever, it's that she is a truly one of a kind person who I can't imagine life without. I'm sure I am not the only one who shares this sentiment.
