Julie Money Neurosurgery Recovery

Hello Family & Friends,

On September 15th, my sister Julie was flown from St. Mary’s Hospital Center to Washington Hospital Center for emergency Neurosurgery. Julie had been experiencing severe headaches for about a week that continued to intensify with additional symptoms which prompted her to go to the emergency room. That is where they found a Cyst in the frontal lobe of her Brain. Julie had no previous symptoms that she was aware of prior, so this was a huge shock to us all.

Her Neurosurgery was considered to be successful but unfortunately she had complications and suffered multiple seizures & a stroke. Despite these serious complications Julie continues to fight and amazes us every day with her strength & determination. Julie is currently still at Washington Hospital Center but we are in the process of getting her transitioned into a facility more equipped to help her continue her recovery.

We are not sure how long her recovery time will be, but we have no doubts our girl will continue to make big strides. In addition to Julie’s unexpected neurosurgery, Danny is still recovering from his shoulder surgery and has not been cleared to return to work. Julie and Danny have never been ones to ask for any help, they are usually the ones helping everyone else without hesitation. If you are able to donate any amount it is greatly appreciated, we want to try to help reduce any stress we can so the focus can be solely on Julie’s recovery. She is such a bright light everywhere she goes and has a huge heart. We all can’t wait to get her rehabilitation started and get her back home where she belongs.
